As we get closer to the halfway mark, I thought it would be interesting to see how the real estate market for homes for sale in Pinecrest compares to Palmetto Bay homes for sale.  

Looking back at sales data in the MLS for the past 180 days as of June 1st, it shows that approximately 118 homes have sold in Pinecrest.  These homes sold at an average of $900,000 and $317 per square foot.

Is it too late to buy a home in Pinecrest or Palmetto Bay?

With demand for homes in these areas driving up prices and the unique benefits that each community provides like public parks, family events, top rated public and private schools and proximity to major highways, it's my opinion that even as prices stabalize for the new condo market and luxury sales slow down, communities like Palmetto Bay and Pinecrest will continue to appreciate in value
